Planet Vox is a full-service media production company with experienced producers on staff that can help you with your media project from conception, design, and scripting to production and distribution. Our areas of expertise include: news content, educational videos, 30-second spots, electronic media campaigns, press event production, satellite distribution, and footage acquistion.

Video Editing
Planet Vox edits on broadcast-quality Avid and Final Cut Pro digital editing systems, allowing producers multiple video and audio tracks, transition effects, color effects, text pages, lower thirds, and many other effects. Supported tape formats are Betacam SP, DVCam, DVC Pro, Mini DV and VHS. Output to tape or digital media.

Electronic Field Production
Planet Vox sends experienced DVCam, mini-DV, Betacam, and now HD camera crews for shoots in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Weekly rates are available. Our videographers and producers can help design and plan shoots for quality content, composition, lighting, and sound.

Audio Production using Digital Audio Tape (DAT) is also available for audio-only applications. Our techs can bring extra mics, stands, to record larger events, and can also drop in a mult-box to serve extra media.

Graphics and Animation
Planet Vox graphic artists work in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe AfterEffects to create video graphics and animations. Video stills for print applications or photos, articles, headlines animated for video

Dubbing and File Conversion
Planet Vox can convert and duplicate a variety of media, including DVD, Beta SP, DV Cam, mini DV, VHS, Quicktime, MPEG, Windows Media Player, Flash, and Real Player. Our dubbing and file conversion service features fast turnarounds, quality controls, a convenient downtown location, and cheap prices.

Sometimes a monitor won't do. Planet Vox can provide video projection or a plasma screen display to help with video and data presentations, as well as entertainment applications and special events.
